I was really excited about this week's top 10 Tuesday theme, which is favorite quotes from books. But the list ended up taking me a really long time to compile! Day 23 - Most annoying character ever

I want to say Bella Swan, but that's far too cheap a shot. :) She did irritate me, though! Konstantin Levin from Anna Karenina also got on my nerves because he wouldn't stop thinking about farming, and I had to read all his interior monologues! Those are the only two I can think of at the moment.

Day 18 - Favorite beginning scene in a book

This one's a no-brainer for me: the beginning of Sense and Sensibility is, in my opinion, one of the greatest initial scenes of all time. I'm currently reading Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel García Márquez, which suddenly made me think of this quote from the movie "High Fidelity," which is based on Hornby's novel:
